Mix of games July 16, 2010 Purple Miss This has the following games:
Crossword - quite easy - ie not cryptic and straighforward clues - very easy to navigate around the puzzle
Sudoko - starts with grid with numbers 1-6 and then has full size grids - not too challenging - and has the facility to note up to 4 digits in a square
Wordsearch - probably aimed at children - no real challenge in looking for words
Fitword - just fitting words into a grid - not very challenging
Codeword - excellent - much more fun to do than with pencil and paper (crossword grid with numbers replacing the letters you have to work out what letter is represented by which number)
Silhouette - just a childs colouring in game - but actually quite satisfying to do on the DS
link a pix - I'd never seen this before - joining numbers in a grid to build a picture - very addictive
spot the difference - childs game but some of them are quite hard
Also some bonus puzzles like hangman, equate (insert + - X etc to get the required answer from combining three numbers) jigsaw, a memory game, and a missing piece puzzle.
I really only play codeword, crossword and link a pix - but am happy with the puzzle for these
It keeps track of your best scores and there are slots to save progress for up to three people
game controls July 14, 2010 iky sometime propblem when trying to end game and start another ,also when erasing it will not return to game
GREAT!!! July 2, 2010 P17K1N88 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great game, have the other puzzlers on DS too. This is by far the better. Lots of different varities of puzzles, hours of fun. Recommended
Be careful ... June 17, 2010 Trudy Bradburne (Halifax, West Yorkshire) Has anyone yet finished all 560 games in the Challenge Mode? I have, except I find I am at 99.5%. It's very frustrating as I must have missed one of the "hidden" puzzles somewhere. I either look through all 560 games or abandon trying to finish the entire thing because there is no way of knowing which hidden puzzle I have missed! Grrrr ...
Apart from that I have very much enjoyed the puzzles, especially Link a Pix, which is new to me.
I just wish I could find that one missing puzzle. Darn!
Puzzler World May 16, 2010 Albatross (Wiltshire, England) I originally bought Puzzler Collection as I always used to like the magazine but was disappointed that there were only 4 different types of puzzles. Puzzler World was recommended to me and it's much better with lots of different types of games and bonus puzzles. It's hard to put down.
